A Night of Film & Fashion at Harry’s Dolci Bar in Venice

During the Venice Film Festival, A Rabbit’s Foot hosted film industry figures and friends for a dinner at Harry’s Dolci Bar.

At Venice Film Festival, Charles Finch celebrated the launch of Issue 16: FILM FASHION with an intimate dinner at Harry’s Dolci in Venice, with support from Brown Rudnick LLP.

The team and a private group of friends sat by the moonlit canal where Harry’s Dolci’s tremendous terrace looks out over the city from Fondameta San Biagio. It’s a peaceful neighbourhood restaurant with a monumental reputation, and guests were welcomed with signature Bellini cocktails and snacks, some dating back to the time of legendary founder Arrigo Cipriani. (Issue 2 of A Rabbit’s Foot features a profile on Mr Cipriani that is worth revisiting.)

In attendance were close friends of A Rabbit’s Foot. Jury member Carolina Cavalli sat with writer Ilaria Bernardini and filmmaker Ginevra Elkann, while actor Geoffrey Rush joined Sandy Powell and Charles, with award-winning director Odessa Rae and playwright Jeremy O. Harris  (a previous cover star) also in conversation over plates of risotto and carpaccio, and more of those Bellinis. Young director Shaden Safieddine Tazi, whose film is in the competition’s selection, was seated with other friends from the worlds of film and fashion.

Issue 16 has launched with two covers: one with supermodel Kendall Jenner and the other featuring actor Willem Dafoe. It is on sale now at all major bookstores and through www.a-rabbitsfoot.com.
