Predicting the Winners of the 2024 Golden Globes

We pick our favourites to win at this year's Golden Globes!

The drunk uncle of awards season is back! The Golden Globes are returning to the Beverly Hill Hotel on Sunday in a ceremony that will see some of the most acclaimed films of the year duke it out for top prize. This has been one of the most interesting film years since perhaps the 2018/19 season (which saw Bong Joon-ho’s monumental Parasite dominate the Oscars) and the Globes this year reflects that, with plenty of nominations for Martin Scorsese’s late career opus Killers of The Flower Moon, Celine Song’s beloved underdog Past Lives, Yorgos Lanthimos’ outrageously sharp Poor Things, Hayao Miyazaki’s triumphant return to the screen The Boy & The Heron, and Alexander Payne’s instant Christmas classic The Holdovers. The awards have also given significant looks to the giants of television this year, namely The Bear, which became a pop culture phenomenon last year, and Succession, which enjoyed a masterful final season. It’s likely they’ll win big, but our hearts are set on seeing the cast and crew of Beef and Barry take home a few statues of their own for some of the best TV we’ve seen in years.

But it’s the unpredictability of The Globes that have always made it an awards show worth tuning in to (unlike the Academy and the Oscars, the Globes have famously encouraged the consumption of alcohol at their event), and with a a ceremony hosted by comedian Jo Koy and categories as stacked as this, we’re definitely hoping to see some fireworks and some upsets. As the competition rages on, it’s easy to get lost in online debate and algorithmic projections of who’s going to win. To make it a little easier, the team here at A RABBIT’S FOOT have compiled the definitive Golden Globes ballot to ponder over the coming week (though if you would like to pick your own, scroll to the bottom of the for an empty template on us.)

Below you can see our picks for each award below — the nominees we hope will win, and the ones we think the Globes will pick as this year’s champions.
