A Rabbit’s Foot celebrated our milestone 10th issue with a takeover of a London institution known for its cutting-edge creativity.
London—In the lead-up to BAFTA, one of the most important weeks in cinema—A Rabbit’s Foot celebrated the launch of its milestone 10th issue with a very special takeover of Dover Street Market, the London landmark for luxury and design, with attendees spanning the worlds of film, fashion and art.
The store looked a little different than usual, as vitrines of A Rabbit’s Foot were filled with displays of the magazine’s ten issues—marking the journey of a magazine that began almost three years ago. Front and centre was the gold-fronted Issue 10. A celebration of ‘The Word’—its cover star is the playwright, actor and filmmaker Jeremy O Harris. The acclaimed director of Slave Play, he is a generational embodiment of creativity, and a fittingly free-spirited protagonist to capture the spirit of A Rabbit’s Foot in our tenth issue.

“A Rabbit’s Foot is a celebration of the creative arts—of artisanal work—and to share our 10th issue with like-minded Dover Street Market makes perfect sense. We share the same creative language,” says Editor-in-Chief Charles Finch. “Releasing our 10th issue of A Rabbit’s Foot at Dover Street Market with IDEA Books is a moment we’re incredibly proud of,” added Creative Director Fatima Khan. “Dover Street Market stands as a true institution, where fashion and culture collide in the most creative and disruptive way.”
The night was the first opportunity to explore the issue—which also includes an alternative Awards cover with The Brutalist’s Adrien Brody—and appearances included names such as BAFTA nominated filmmakers Luna Carmoon and Rich Peppiatt, Liz Hurley and her son Damian Hurley, Jonathan and Ronnie Newhouse, Oscar nominated filmmaker Reinaldo Marcus Green, musicians Matt Champion and Attawalpa, actors Andrew Georgiades, Toheeb Jimoh and Guy Remmers, Academy award winning filmmaker Sir Christopher Hampton and filmmaker Isabel Sandoval.

A Rabbit’s Foot Issue 10—which is now available to order globally, and is available in-store at IDEA Books—also features in-depth conversations with filmmakers and actors such as Brady Corbet, Denis Villeneuve, Steve McQueen, Judi Dench, Halina Reijn and Felicity Jones. It also features essays on the likes of James Baldwin, Daphne du Maurier, and Lillian Ross. The word is represented in other artforms as we explore Glenn Ligon, photographer Lee Friedlander, and singer Elyanna.
“As one of the only film and culture print magazines designed and printed here in London, we remain committed to going against the grain—championing the tactile and timeless nature of print in an increasingly digital world,” said Fatima Khan, reflecting on the journey A Rabbit’s Foot has been on. Whilst Issue 9 cover stars included Mikey Madison and Sean Baker of the currently Oscar-nominated Anora—blown-up lifesize for the event alongside Jeremy O Harris—whilst previous issues have been themed around the American Spirit, Motors, Love, Journeys, as well as the inaugural French and Italian issues. Stay tuned to see what the next 10 issues might bring.
