It feels simultaneously like no time at all and eons ago since Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund won the Palme D’Or at Cannes last year for Triangle of Sadness, making him the ninth director to win the award more than once (his last win was in 2017 for The Square). It might feel that way because A Rabbit’s Foot launched its first issue, a celebration of all things French cinema, almost one year ago now at the festival. Cannes is a home away from home to us for that reason, and, as always, we’re tuning in with anticipation as the slate of films in competition this year are unveiled. We’ll be updating the lineup below as announcements come in — and make sure to check back on the site in a few days for our essential Cannes ‘23 watchlist…
Note: To celebrate the festival announcement we’re putting our third issue on sale at 20% off — visit our shop page here to place an order, just put the code APRIL20 in at checkout to apply the discount. Offer ends Saturday 15th April, 12:00 am BST.
