Filmmaker Biography: Julia is a Canadian director and producer based in Berlin. Julia’s work aims to create a sensual experience for the viewer using immersive cinematography and ASMR-like sound design. Her aim is to get under the viewer’s skin, to show the familiar in a whole new way, augmenting reality by focusing on the details. For her, storytelling is the dance between the whole and the parts, the wide and the macro, the objective and the subjective. Her motto : do not get comfortable.
